Project complete...birthday over...success!!

Millie loved the bed, and it turned out pretty good for $15 worth of PVC and fittings :o) We thought it would be easier to spray paint, but that didn't work out so well. Matt primed and then painted it for me and it turned out much better. We had some extra pink paint left from the girls' room, so it matches perfectly!! (Click picture to see the rest of the album)

Millie's 6th Birthday

Grandpa came down Friday and took us out for dinner for Millie's birthday and stayed until Saturday. We always enjoy his visits! Then on Saturday evening we just had a family party--pizza and cake and we gave Millie the finished bed for Rebecca. We left early this morning for Chicago and had lunch and did some shopping before heading home. We had a great time and were glad it worked out to go with our friends Sara and Bekah. Bekah is a good friend of Millie's who also got Rebecca for Christmas and whose birthday is next weekend.

All in all, a good weekend.
