We closed out summer with an awesome family day with some friends!! We headed up to Lake Michigan and spent an awesome day at the beach. The water was COLD...but that didn't stop the kids.
Five straight hours of chasing waves, burying friends, climbing dunes, and digging trenches. We finished the day with dinner at the Triple XXX in West Lafayette, where two of my very own family members dared to wear their Hoosier attire into an establishment full of Purdue students. No one gave them too hard a time, though. (Matt threatened to order the "Hoosier special," and I'm not sure if that would have been taken very well! :o) )
