Each year one of the main fundraisers at Mary Castle Elementary is a Walk-a-thon. This year, the name of the walk was changed to a "Walkabout," in keeping with the new international focus of the school. Students gathered pledges from family and friends and then they participated in the walk on October 28. It was a cold, but fun, day!! The students first "warmed up," then walked a little over a mile before ending up at the water station where they grabbed a drink and learned a few facts about water.
