There are some days as a mom when you want nothing more than some time alone, or someone ELSE to take your kids. Then there are other days that are just plain fun and you wonder how these kids you enjoy so much are the very same monsters you spend so many hours trying to avoid :o) Today for us was one of those good days.
We've been having an awesome summer so far...we've played with friends, had friends over, gone to the pool, etc. It's all been great. Today we happened to have nothing on our calendar! No one was going to a friend's house today, and we weren't having anyone at ours either. We took advantage of the day and packed a picnic lunch and headed to the sprinkler park. We ate, kids played, kids splashed, and we read for a while under a shady tree. It was
a perfect afternoon!!
