What are we Reading?

It's been a while since I've let you know what the bookworms around here are up to. Here goes...

Matt...Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol

Janette...just finished Rick Riordon's The Lightning Thief (Quinn's recommendation). Desperately trying to finish the last few chapters of Randy Alcorn's Safely Home, and ready for my next book club book, Pride, Prejudice and Zombies.

Quinn...Rick Riordon's Sea of Monsters (sequel to the book above), which has been on hold at the library FOREVER and just came in for him on Friday. Otherwise he's been working on the Series of Unfortunate Events and just finished the Starcatchers Trilogy (of which he said, "The first 75 pages have been more exciting than the climax of Harry Potter!" That means a lot coming from him...,)

Clara...The Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket--I think she's on either book 6 or 7 now. She loves these.










Zane and Millie...Matt and I are reading them The Frog Princess in anticipation of the movie coming out this holiday season.

As soon as we are finished with Zane and Millie's book, we are doing a WHOLE FAMILY read-aloud. We love Kate DiCamillo and we are going to read her new book, The Magician's Elephant.
