There have been several times recently that I've started to realize what it's like to feel old. Today was another one. Clara had to fill in this sentence:
I asked the photographer to develop these ________________.
One of the possibilities was negatives, but she still didn't get it right. She just left it blank. When I started to explain the answer, she said "How in the world was I supposed to know that?" It's funny to me that the only kind of camera she has ever know is a digital one.

Think of all the things they do know about that will be obsolete before they have kids! They will be feeling old right along with us when the kids they babysit in five years don't know what a CD or a video is.
