Zoo Day

Millie's class has been busy studying animals for the last several weeks. They have even incorporated their learning with sign language, learning the signs for many different animals. Thursday this learning culminated in a "study trip" to the zoo. The class had to write a letter to their principal asking if they could take a trip to the zoo. Ms. Pike visited their classroom and talked to them to get a little more information. Then, the day came when she said YES, they could go to the zoo! Then the countdown to May 6 began.

We couldn't have had a more perfect day for the trip. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time!
